About Social Data Systems

Social Data Systems is the premiere provider of NetSuite services for organizations ranging from small companies to international agencies. Our experience crosses all business sectors, whether the business is a for-profit or nonprofit. Collectively, Social Data Systems has more than 15 years of engineering and administrative support experience with NetSuite, and 20 years of experience in social finance, management and accounting. Social Data Systems is a mission-based organization, incorporated in Arizona as a Benefit Corporation, and is a NetSuite Alliance and Social Impact Program Partner.

Jeff HancockFounder & CEO
Jeff is a technology industry veteran with more than 25 years’ experience in the technology field, working in both engineering and management positions. Prior to starting Social Data Systems, Jeff was a Project Manager for SAIC, a Fortune 500 engineering company, and a Systems Engineer and Division Manager for Technology Integration Group.

In 2000, while working for SAIC, Jeff and two co-workers formed the San Diego Futures Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing technology to the community and bridging the digital divide.

In 2009, Jeff migrated SDFF from QuickBooks, Salesforce, Microsoft Access and several web-based systems to NetSuite. In 2012, with a staff of 35 and a budget of $4.5 million, Jeff ventured back into the private sector to start Social Data Systems

Travis BuffingtonSenior Engineer
Travis is a NetSuite Certified Administrator, Consultant and Developer with more than 8 years’ experience working within the NetSuite platform. He is the first NetSuite user to pass all three NetSuite Certifications – ERP Consultant, SuiteCloud Developer, and Administrator.

Travis focuses on advanced NetSuite customization, ordering, inventory and fulfillment, unique customization, reports, and integration with third-party applications.

Scott StobbeSenior Developer
Scott provides an extensive array of technical services and develops a range of custom solutions for our customers. Scott focuses on tailoring NetSuite specifically for our client’s needs. He builds the online donation page, event registration, donation history reporting and builds our customer’s ecommerce sites.

In addition to his experience with NetSuite, Scott has 6 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. He is well-versed in digital marketing, e-commerce, digital media, and IT support, and is passionate about helping businesses do more with less by leveraging smart data analysis. Scott has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Columbia College Chicago.

Roz ZavrasDirector of International Implementations
Rosalind ‘Roz’ Zavras manages implementations for NetSuite customers with overseas operations and others using the OneWorld platform.

Based in New York, Roz has nine years of experience in the non-profit, start-up, and government sectors. With roles ranging from project manager to CFO, she has worked around the world on everything from revamping cash-based accounting systems to quadrupling warehouse operations. Roz has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics, and she received her Master’s in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University.

Wendy HancockDirector of US Implementations
Wendy schedules and coordinates resources, teams and clients to implement NetSuite for customers who operate primarily in the United States. In addition to managing implementations, Wendy assists with account configurations, setup, data preparation and import, and general account management.

Wendy has a bachelor’s degree in English from San Diego State University.

Tracy CassidyCPA
Tracy is a CPA with extensive experience in accounting required for grants, contracts, restricted contributions and Net Assets. She has worked for more than 15 years providing accounting services to small businesses, nonprofits and corporations.

Tracy spent 4.5 years with Berlin, Ramos & Company, an East Coast based firm, and later moved to Moss Adams, LLP, a nationally known accounting firm in San Diego.

Lee WoodMarketing Analyst
Lee is a seasoned business executive and entrepreneur with 16 years’ experience working with Fortune 200 companies and startups.

He has a degree in Business Management from Purdue University and manages the design, development and implementation of Retail, Marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) build-outs for SDS clients.
